Looking for Myrtle Beach fall events in 2026? Fall is a great time to visit the Grand Strand, with seasonal events and activities happening throughout Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, and Little River.
The summer crowds start to thin out, the weather becomes more comfortable, and fall brings everything from Halloween activities and local history to live entertainment.
Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway or a longer stay, here are some events to add to your fall calendar.
Crooktoberfest
September 14 – October 11, 2026
Crooktoberfest brings four weeks of fall fun to Crooked Hammock Brewery in North Myrtle Beach.
The brewery puts its own spin on Oktoberfest with colorful decorations, German-inspired versions of Crooked Hammock favorites, fresh fall beers, and events throughout its outdoor backyard.
With its location along Highway 17 in North Myrtle Beach, it’s an easy stop to work into an afternoon or evening during your fall vacation.

Little River Fright Nights Haunted House
September 24 – October 31, 2026
Halloween takes over the Little River waterfront with Little River Water Fright Nights.
This six-week Halloween experience includes a community haunted house along with themed decorations and activities around the waterfront and Little River Landing. Other festivities include the Trail of Fear, Trunk & Treat, a costume contest, and pirate-themed cruises on the Intracoastal Waterway.
If you’re visiting the Grand Strand around Halloween, this gives you another reason to spend an evening exploring Little River.

Myrtle Beach Area Ghosts, Pirates & Historic Families Trolley Tour
Select Dates in October & November 2026
Fall and ghost stories go pretty well together.
This two-hour narrated trolley tour heads south of Myrtle Beach toward Murrells Inlet while introducing guests to local ghost stories, pirates said to have frequented the Carolina coast, and some of the families that helped shape the area’s history.
The tour also makes brief stops along the way, including The Gardener’s Cottage at Brookgreen Gardens, Pawleys Island Hammock Shops Village, and an overlook in Murrells Inlet.
It’s a good option if you want to get away from the usual attractions and learn a little more about the stories and history behind the Grand Strand.

Early Myrtle Beach History and The WWII Years Trolley Tour
Select Dates Throughout Fall 2026
If you’re more interested in Myrtle Beach history than ghost stories, there’s another trolley tour worth checking out.
The Early Myrtle Beach History and The WWII Years Trolley Tour covers Myrtle Beach’s origin story and what life in the area was like during World War II, including U-boat threats off the coast and the arrival of German POWs.
The tour also includes stops at Pine Lakes Country Club and the Historic Myrtle Beach Colored School Museum.
It’s an interesting way to see another side of Myrtle Beach that you might completely miss during a typical beach vacation.
